Review:

“Eyeliner - E05 - An extra-fine tipped synthetic fiber brush that delivers a precise, firm, even stroke to line the eyes.”
→ I tried out this brush with cream eyeliner from Sephora, and it worked really well, although the line was a bit thicker than I expected. Personally, I rarely wear eyeliner because it makes my eyes look funny (my friends can attest to this), but for someone who does wear it, this brush is great and leave no stray lines!

“Pencil - E30 - Precise application of color on the crease, outer corner, and upper and lower lash line. Also ideal to smudge out pencil liner. Natural bristles.”
→ This brush is really great for creating the “smoky” look, so it isn’t something you would use everyday, but more for special occasions. Since it’s really soft and not as dense as most brushes used for the same purpose, the lines it creates are softer and are better for a shadowy look!

“Tapered Blending - E40 - Rounded and tapered top. Specially designed to apply and blend color on the crease.”
→ This brush is great for blending everything softly together, without smudging the lines too much, and is perfect for the finishing touches on a look! If you layer eyeshadow frequently and find yourself having to smudge the shades together with your fingers, then this brush is a must-have!

“Eye Shading - E55 - Soft and dense with a rounded finish. Can be used to apply pressed or loose eye shadows and pigments. Ideal to build intense color on the eyelid. Natural bristles.”
→ This basic brush is incredibly easy to use, and works really well for layering and packing different colors or shades on. If you’re looking to cut down the number of brushes on your shopping list, this is one you definitely want to keep, just for its ease of use and versatility.

“Large Shader - E60 - Flat shape is ideal for application of cream formulas and eye shadow primers. It also works great with loose eye shadows or pigments. Can be used to apply color all over the lid or precisely on the lash line.”
→ This brush is great for applying primer to your eyes (which you should use if you see your eye shadow disappearing or smudging over the course of the day). It’s also good for applying color to your eyelids, but it’s a bit on the larger side, so expect more color than you would otherwise.

“Small Angle - E65 - Essential for the application of gel or cream eyeliner on the upper and lower lash line. This brush is also excellent for filling out the eyebrows. Synthetic bristles.”
→ As with the E05, I normally don’t wear any sort of eyeliner, but since there’s an angle on this brush, I feel like the line is more precise and easier to draw on. This one is really great for blending as well!

“Medium Angled Shading - E70 - Angled, tapered, flat top. Ideal to apply highlight shades underneath the eyebrow and on the inner corners. It can also be used for a precise application of darker shades on the crease area. Natural bristles.”
→ This brush is amazingly soft, and work really well for highlights. It’s incredibly precise (which I feel is a quality that comes with more angled brushes), and very easy to use as well.

“Large Powder - F30 - Very dense with a rounded top. Ideal to apply powder products on face and body. Natural bristles.”
→ This is a great powder brush (and is the one on the left side of the photo for this post), but as soon as I removed it from the packaging, I already had a few hairs fall out of the brush. After that, however, it was fine! It is so, so incredibly soft, and feels amazing when you use it!

“Large Angled Contour - F40 - The angled shape makes this brush ideal to apply blush or contour shades. Natural bristles.”
→ This brush is pictured on the very right, up top (it kind of blends into my couch :P), and is a great shape for highlights and contours. The only thing I’m worried about, that I’ve heard, is that it loses its shape after a few washes — just make sure to keep it in the sleeve it comes in, and it’ll stay perfect :)

“Duo Fibre - F50 - Specially designed to generate an airbrushed finish when used to apply liquid foundation. It can also be used to apply blush, highlight shades and loose pigments. Blend of synthetic and natural bristles.”
→ This is the brush pictured in the middle of the photo at the top of this post, and I think it’s my favorite out of all of the brushes! It’s a beautiful color, incredibly soft, and works so well for foundation, blush, highlights, shades, and just about anything you can think of!

“Foundation - F60 - Can be used to apply liquid or cream foundation. It is also recommended to apply moisturizers and conceal large areas. Synthetic bristles.”
→ This foundation brush is similar to the F50 and works just as well, however, it’s a bit smaller and I prefer the colors in the F50 :) It’s two dollars cheaper than the F50 though, if you’re just looking to buy a single foundation brush!

“Concealer - F70 - The rounded, tapered, flat shape makes this brush ideal to conceal the under eye area. It is also recommended for a precise application in small areas. Synthetic bristles.”
→ This foundation brush does an amazing job for concealing the under eye area, and if you don’t put foundation all over your face, you can use it for just concealing blemishes, which is what I do! It works great and leaves the area looking smooth & flawless, and you can also use it for eyeshadow as well :)
